In this tutorial you are going to learn how to create a WordPress blog by following these instructions. The more blogs you create, the better you become. The more you use WordPress the more you will get to love it, just like I do. WordPress in my opinion is the most popular and most powerful CMS “Content Management System”, widely used in the world.
There is a learning curve in blogging, however if you love blogging as much as I do, you will get to enjoy it very much. That is probably one of the reasons why you are visiting this blog post, to learn more. The more experience you have, the better you will become at building great blogs. In time you could become a popular blogger.
Note: After you install WordPress, there are two plugins you should install straight away. A backup plugin and a Security plugin. Go to Step 9 ) in the list below to find all the plugins I recommend.
The security plugin I use in all my blogs is All In One WP Security & Firewall. This plugin is very powerful and has an option to change the database prefix. WordPress creates the default database prefix wp_. This database prefix is known by many hackers. I suggest that you change the prefix the moment you install the security plugin. This is extremely important for security reasons.
Info: Remember to create a database backup of your site before you change the database prefix, just in case something happens.
