I have been designing themes using Suffusion for most of my clients including this website/blog. However Suffusion has not been updated for a while and I am not sure if anyone will update the theme any more. I am not sure what the future holds for Suffusion. I hope someone takes on the project.

In the mean time I have started looking for alternatives just in case Suffusion is not updated. I came across Template Toaster. It will achieve most of what Suffusion currently does and the developers are constantly adding new features. There are a few differences between both theme and software. One of the differences is Template Toaster runs locally in your computer or laptop as a software and Suffusion frameworks works inside your site installed as a theme. The other difference is Suffusion is 100% free and Template Toaster is commercial software and requires purchasing.

I will share with you how to manage and work with Template Toaster software to design WordPress themes. I will try to also compare Template Toaster with Suffusion for those of you who also use Suffusion.
