FAQ / Troubleshooting

Q1 Were are WP Express details stored in WordPress database?
Like to be able to do a query as for reporting

Answer: The product data goes to the wp_posts table (as a custom post type). Orders go to the wp_posts table as another custom post type. The settings go to the ‘ppdg-settings’ in the options table.

Q2 Should I configure an url for Instant Payment Notification (IPN), in my PayPal account? Or should I set off Instant Payment Notification (IPN)? thanks?

Answer: This plugin uses the new PayPal API so it doesn’t need to use the Instant Payment Notification (IPN). It uses a completely different system that has no association with the IPN feature. So you can keep the IPN option “on” or “off” as per your requirement for other plugins that you maybe using on other sites for this same PayPal merchant account. Enjoy.

I have been working in IT since 1999 and I enjoy the challenges it brings me. I love developing websites with WordPress. I spend a lot of time helping out in wordpress.org forums. I have been writing tutorials since 2011. Now I am learning how to manage my own VPS "Virtual Private Server.
