For anyone thinking about blogging, I suggest WordPress. WordPress is one of the most widely used blogging CMS “Content Management System” in the world.

It has so much to offer and so many and an endless list of tutorials online that will help you understand WordPress. They vary from beginners to advanced level of knowledge. You will learn how to set up and configure both from the backend and the front end. If you are serious about blogging then don’t waste your time searching just use WordPress.

This website began as a blog and the main page was created using Joomla “Which is also a very powerful CMS”. Later because I discoverd that SEO is extremely important for your online business or websites, I found out that WordPress was easier to manage for SEO and worked really well with Google search engine. So I disided to change from Joomla and implement all my changes to WordPress.

Now my website and blog are merged together using WordPress. That is how easy it is to develop websites and blogs in the one structure.

The amount of plugins that are available is incredible huge. There are plugins just about for anything you can imagine. You might like to check my tutorial WordPress Plugins Compatibility. This tutorial is more like a report that provides details on a list of plugins I recommend. This list of plugins are also tested against the latest stable, alpha, beta or candidate WordPress release version. These are the plugins I use on my websites and blogs and my clients websites.

Now think about this, how much could you share with people world wide if you new how to blog? Social network websites like Facebook and twitter are blogs. The only difference between these social networks and your blog is the amount of traffic they get.

With WordPress you can share all your ideas about anything that you think of feel someone out there will want to read about or even share their ideas with you. The most important part about blogging is to have fun while you share your thoughts, ideas and even start your own online business.

Don’t get stressed or become worried because you are not receiving any traffic. At the beginning people won’t know about your website so you need to promote your website for people to read and follow you. Remember this saying from the movie Field Of Dreams “If you build it they will come”.
