Most of you might be thinking of using The SEO Framework but are a bit hesitant or worried about the SEO data in your site. This very simple tutorial shows you how simple it is using a plugin to transport the data from one plugin/theme. It does not transport the SEO settings from other plugins/theme.
For this example the Yoast SEO data will be analyzed and transported.
What You Need

Step 1 ) Go to Tools -> Convert SEO Data to start analyzing and converting your SEO data from one plugin/ theme to The SEO Framework. See image below.
Step 2 ) The following image SEO Data Transporter display some documentation about the functionality of the plugin.

Step 3 ) In this example I am going to first analyze the SEO data and then I am going to convert the data from Yoast SEO plugin to The SEO Framework plugin. You can choose to convert the data straight away if you want.
The following image shows you the following selection => from Yoast SEO => to The SEO Framework.
Step 4 ) The following image Compatible Elements shows you what will be imported from other SEO plugins or themes if anything is found during the analysis.
- Custom Doctitle
- META Description
- META Keywords
- Canonical URI
- Redirect URI
- Information found if any in the analysis. = In this example only 1 database record was found.
Step 5 ) Once you have analyzed the data, click on Convert button as illustrated in Step 3 ) above. The following image shows you 1 record was updated 1 record was ignored.
Note: This is a testing site so there is not much data to be imported. In your case the results will be different.
That is how simple it is to import the data records from one SEO plugin or theme into The SEO Framework.
