Suffusion Theme Options Layouts Thumbnail Settings
Step 1 ) The following image Thumbnail settings allows you to set up the following options.
Show thumbnails for excerpts
- Display Thumbnail, if available
- Hide Thumbnail
Show featured images for full content
- Display featured image, if available
- Don’t show any image
Step 2 ) The following image allows you to set up the following options.
Image preference order
- You can change the order of preference for picking up images
Proportional resizing
- Preserve original proportions (final size might be different from desired size)
- Transform to desired proportions (image might get cropped)
Step 3 ) The following image allows you to set up the following options.
Set compression quality
- Adjust this if you want to change the quality of your compressed image
Thumbnail alignment in excerpts
- Show thumbnail on the left of the excerpt
- Show thumbnail on the right of the excerpt
Step 4 ) The following image allows you to set up the following options.
Thumbnail size in excerpts
- Thumbnail size, as defined in Settings -> Media
- Medium size, as defined in Settings -> Media
- Large size, as defined in Settings -> Media
- Full size of the image
- Custom size defined below
Custom width of thumbnail
- Enter the number of pixels here (don’t enter ‘px’). Non-integers will be ignored.
Custom height of thumbnail
- Enter the number of pixels here (don’t enter ‘px’). Non-integers will be ignored.
That’s how simple it is to show how to set up the thumbnails, featured images, proportional resizing and much more.
