The following Suffusion Theme Options Ad Hoc Widgets shows you how to set up the number of columns in the widget area.

These widgets is not very common but they serve a purpose. I have added a link at the bottom of this tutorial to help you further understand how to use these widgets.

Suffusion Theme Options Ad Hoc Widgets Settings
Step 1 ) Go to Appearance -> Suffusion Options -> Sidebars -> Ad Hoc Widgets to set up the widgets. See image below.
Step 2 ) The following image Columns in Widgets area allows you to select one of the following options.
The following selection applies to the following Widgets.
- Ad Hoc Widgets 1
- Ad Hoc Widgets 2
- Ad Hoc Widgets 3
- Ad Hoc Widgets 4
- Ad Hoc Widgets 5
