Create Recovery DVDs Laptops Computers lets you know how important it is to set up the recovery CD or DVD.
I want to share with you information about buying laptops or computers. If you buy a brand name machine that comes with a recovery partition, “No Software supplied with the package” I suggest that the first thing you do is create the recovery DVD’s using the manager software that comes with your laptop or computer. This is very important as it contains your operating system, drivers, utilities, security software and applications. Too many people are buying laptops and computers without creating the recovery DVD’s.
Please be aware that if you are creating the recovery DVD’s it will take a few hours to complete so go and make yourself a cup of coffee or tea :). It is worth spending this time because you don’t want your system to become corrupted and find out that you can’t use the recovery partition because it is corrupted. You also might want to create your own partitions and if something goes wrong you can use the recovery DVD’s to configure your machine back to it’s original settings.
