Windows 7 64bit and Samsung CLX-2160 printer drivers talks about an issue I had between windows 7 and the printer.
Latest News: I have added more information to help those with the same problem.
I had to troubleshoot a printer problem between windows 7 64bit and Samsung CLX-2160 MFP. The CD that comes with this printer only has 32 bit drivers. Please be aware that if your Windows operating system is 64bit then these drivers will not work. The solution is to download the latest drivers from Samsung’s website.
This also applies to all the printers out in the market that were released around 2007 and did not have 64bit drivers for windows 7. I hope this helps you with your problem, if you need any help just leave a message here or send me an e-mail.
