If you have a Microsoft original CD and for some reason you have lost the XP product key or you have accidentally erased the product key from the sticker label on your computer or laptop. There is a work around for this. If you ring Microsoft in your country and let them know about the product key loss they will instruct you on where you can find a code, which you need to provide for Microsoft to provide the product key.
Important Note: If you are still using XP be aware that Microsoft has stopped updating Windows XP. You should be running Windows 7 or 8.1.
Hint: This only applies to original CD’s from Microsoft.
I am not sure if this applies to other versions of Windows but you can always try. So don’t throw away your CD or panic just ring Microsoft and they will kindly assist you. Also remember piracy does not pay. There is too much of this going around and affecting our livelihood. Every time you steel you send a message to the Universe and in return you get something back and that is called Karma.
I am not kidding as it does happen. You can never be safe in life you commit a crime. It is not worth it and I am sure that if you created something great in life you would not want anyone steeling it from you or your loved ones.
