If you are using Windows XP, vista, 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 then you should be using ccleaner to maintained your computer desktop and environment clean.

I have been using this little utility since 2002 and never looked back. This tool has grown a lot since then but still it is small in comparison with other utilities out there.

It is great for Windows Operating Systems. It does a great job for a free tool “There is a commercial upgrade if you need extra”. I always use it to clean my computers and laptops. It is one of the tools in my arsenal to defeat all the issues that arise from time to time with computers not running smoothly.

This little gem of a tool will clean all your rubbish that is accumulated from all the downloads that you do over the internet and from all the removal or installations that you carry out. Files are stored somewhere in your computer and after a period of time it just accumulates and clutters your computer and slows down the performance substantially even freezing your computer and slowing down the boot process.

As you are aware computers will always play up no matter how great they are and they always need attention. It is better to be safe than sorry. Think of this utility like your personal motor mechanic. You always take your car for a regular service correct!!

So remember always check to see if you have the latest version of ccleaner installed. They keep updating to implement new software updates and new hardware technologies.

I will be updating this post from time to time, so keep coming back for the latest news.

If you have any questions please let me know.
