There are times that you will want to change the number of sidebars displayed for tags, category and more. The flexibility of Suffusion allows you to customize the number of sidebar displayed for the mentioned titles.
Suffusion Theme Front-Tag And Search Layouts Options
Step 1 ) Go to Appearance -> Suffusion Options -> Layouts menu to set up the following titles. See image below.
The settings for the following titles are the same. That is why I have only written one tutorial to cover the following titles.
Menu Titles:
- Front / Blog Page Views
- Category Views
- Tag Views
- Author Views
- Date Archive Views
- Search Result Views
Sidebar Layout
Step 2 ) The following image Sidebar Layout allows you to set up the following menu titles.
- Front / Blog Page Views
- Category Views
- Tag Views
- Author Views
- Date Archive Views
- Search Result Views
For each menu title above you can configure the following options.
- Get default sidebar layout
- 0 (Zero) – Get “No Sidebars” settings
- 1 Left – Get “1 Left Sidebar” settings
- 1 Right – Get “1 Right Sidebar” settings
- 1 Left, 1 Right – Get “1 Left, 1 Right Sidebar” settings
- 2 Left – Get “2 Left Sidebars” settings
- 2 Right – Get “2 Right Sidebars” settings
Full posts / excerpts / list / tiles / mosaic
Step 3 ) The following image Full posts / excerpts / list / tiles / mosaic allows you to set up the following menu titles.
- Front / Blog Page Views
- Category Views
- Tag Views
- Author Views
- Date Archive Views
- Search Result Views
For each menu title above you can configure the following options.
- Display full content
- Display excerpt
- Display list
- Display tiles
- Display mosaic
Step 4 ) The following image Number of Full content posts for date-based archives allows you to set up the following menu titles.
- Front / Blog Page Views
- Category Views
- Tag Views
- Author Views
- Date Archive Views
- Search Result Views
For each menu title above you can configure the following options.
- 0 (Zero) *(Defautl)
- 1 (One)
- 2 (Two)
- 3 (Three)
- 4 (Four)
- 5 (Five)
- 6 (Six)
- 7 (Seven)
- 8 (Eight)
- 9 (Nine)
- 10 (Ten)
That is how simple it is to change the number of sidebar displayed for these titles.
