Recently two family members had their Facebook account hacked. I decided to add this blog post about privacy.
As time goes by you add too many people to your list of friends and you might only chat once in a long time. You probably even forget who they are and why they are added to your list of friends.
This tutorial will help you check and secure your blog post. It will help you make your account more private and block unwanted people from your list of friends.
Facebook Privacy Shortcuts Steps
Step 1 ) Log into Facebook and navigate to the top right hand side. Click on the padlock you see. See image below.
Step 2 ) The following image Privacy Checkup allows you to set up who can see your posts by selecting one of the following options.

Step 3 ) Click on Your Apps to check the settings for all your apps. See image below.
Remember each app allows you to set up different settings.
Step 4 ) Click on Your Profile to check the settings for the following options. See image below.
- Click on Finish Up! button when you complete these settings
Step 5 ) The following image lets you know that you have completed the checkup. You can click on Close button or perhaps you need to learn more about privacy, click on More About Privacy button.
