Suffusion Theme Other Graphical Elements Post Formats shows you how to customize and control the positioning of post bylines.

Suffusion allows you to customize the post bylines and post formats for different areas. This gives you a huge control of how each post format will appear in different areas of your website.

Suffusion Theme Other Graphical Elements Post Formats

Step 1 ) Go to Appearance -> Suffusion Options -> Other Graphical Elements -> Post Formats menu. See image below.

Step 2 ) The following image allows you to select and setup the control positioning for the following Post Formats. Each post format is control individually by their own settings.

Post Formats

• Posts (‘Aside’ post format)
• Posts (‘Gallery’ post format)
• Posts (‘Link’ post format)
• Posts (‘Image’ post format)
• Posts (‘Quote’ post format)
• Posts (‘Status’ post format)
• Posts (‘Video’ post format)
• Posts (‘Audio’ post format) = The Audio has an extra option to set up see below.
• Posts (‘Chat’ post format)

Note: Each post format above have their own settings to configure.

Show Titles?

• Show
• Hide

Position of meta information (including date)

• Theme Default
• Show in corners above/below content
• Pullout on the left (this will reduce your main column width)
• Pullout on the right side (this will reduce your main column width)
• Pullout on the left outside post (this will reduce your main column width)
• Pullout on the right outside post (this will reduce your main column width)
• Single line above post
• Single line below post

Step 3 ) The following image allows you to setup the following options for each post format as mentioned above.

• Show Permalink for posts without titles?
• Show Permalink for posts without title?
• Show Categories?
• Show Comments link?

Step 4 ) The following image allows you to setup the following options for each post format as mentioned above.

• Show “Posted By”?
• “Posted By” format
• Show Tags?

Step 5 ) The following image allows you to enable or disable the audio shortcode.

• Audio shortcode

Information: This option only applies to the Audio chortcode.

That is all you have to do to control the post format.
