Suffusion Theme Date Box

The following Suffusion Theme Date Box tutorial shows you how to format the way the date will be displayed on your website blog.

Suffusion provides the option for you to format your blog post date. When ever you create a new blog post or update an old blog post you will want the date to be formatted in a way that reflects your website blog and theme layout.

What you need:

• Suffusion

Suffusion Theme Date Box

Step 1 ) Go to Appearance -> Suffusion Options -> Skinning -> Date Box menu as illustrated in the image below to set up the date format and display for your website.

Step 2 ) The following image Hide date box? allows you to select from the following options.

• Theme Default
• Show
• Hide
• Hide on search results. This is useful if your search returns a mix of pages and posts, because it makes the results look consistent (pages don’t have a date box)

Step 3 ) The following image Default or custom? allows you to select from the following options.

• Theme styles
• Custom styles

Step 4 ) The following image Date Box allows you to configure the following options.

• Background Color
• Image URL
• Custom
• Image Position
• Image Repeat
• Layer Transparency (not for IE)

Step 5 ) The following image Month Font allows you to configure the following options.

• Font Color
• Font Face
• Font Size
• Font Size Type
• Font Style
• Font Variant
• Font Weight

Step 6 ) The following image Date Font allows you to configure the following options.

• Font Color
• Font Face
• Font Size
• Font Size Type
• Font Style
• Font Variant
• Font Weight

Step 7 ) The following image Year Font allows you to configure the following options.

• Font Color
• Font Face
• Font Size
• Font Size Type
• Font Style
• Font Variant
• Font Weight
