WordPress Simple Membership Payment Settings shows you how to setup a PayPal, Stripe and Braintree payment buttons and more.

These settings allows you to set up a PayPal, Stripe and Braintree account for your membership levels that requires a payment. Remember that you can also have free membership levels added as well.

WordPress Simple Membership Payment Settings Steps

Step 1 ) The following image Payment Settings allows you to set up the following option.

Note: Even though this option allows you to create a PayPal button in your PayPal account, it is still recommended that you create all the buttons using the plugin. Creating the buttons internally using the plugin allows the plugin to keep track and to easily manage all transactions.

PayPal Integration Settings

  • Enter the Membership Level ID = click on Generate Code button

Note: The following option allows you to set up a PayPal Buy Now and Subscription button outside of this plugins using your PayPal account. To learn more about this option please click on the following URL Creating a PayPal Button For Your Membership Payment.


Step 2 ) The following image Stripe Global Settings allows you to select and enter the relevant Stripe API keys.

Stripe Global Settings

  • Pre-fill Member Email Address
  • Test Publishable Key
  • Test Secret Key
  • Live Publishable Key
  • Live Secret Key
  • Click on Save Changes button when you complete your settings.

  1. Anybody have any issues with the paypal not showing up with the Custom Form Builder add-on? Doesn’t show up at all for me.
