WordPress Simple Membership Payment Settings allows you to mange PayPal, Stripe payment options and more.

These settings allows you to manage and set up a PayPal, Stripe account options for your membership levels that requires a payment. You can also setup the Sandbox more option for testing as well. Remember that you can also have free membership levels added as well.

WordPress Simple Membership Payment Settings Steps

Step 1 ) Go to WP Membership -> Settings -> Payment Settings tab to start setting up the payment options in the plugin.

Sandbox or Test Mode Payment Settings

Step 2 ) The following image Sandbox or Test Mode Payment Settings allows you to setup the following option.

  • Enable Sandbox or Test Mode = Note: PayPal only offers the credit card checkout option in the business or premier account. This feature is not available in the personal PayPal account. When you enable sandbox testing make sure your PayPal account is either a business or premier account.

PayPal Settings

Step 3 ) The following image PayPal Settings allows you to select and enter the relevant PayPal Live and Sandbox ID and Key.

Note: Configure the PayPal API credentials for the new PayPal checkout. Read this documentation getting PayPal api credentials to learn how to get your PayPal API credentials.

  • Live Secret Key
  • Sandbox Client ID
  • Sandbox Secret Key

PayPal Webhooks

Step 4 ) The following image PayPal Webhooks allows you to manage the Webhooks created by the PayPal payment buttons that uses the New API.

  • Live Webhook Status
  • Test Webhook Status
  • Delete Webhooks

Stripe Global Settings

Step 5 ) The following image Stripe Global Settings allows you to select and enter the relevant Stripe API keys.

  • Pre-fill Member Email Address
  • Test Publishable Key
  • Test Secret Key
  • Live Publishable Key
  • Live Secret Key
  • Click on Save Changes button when you complete your settings.

  1. Anybody have any issues with the paypal not showing up with the Custom Form Builder add-on? Doesn’t show up at all for me.
