WordPress SEO Framework Description Meta Settings helps you to configure and understand the admin description settings found on the admin sidebar.

In this post you will learn more about the plugins admin Description settings. This area controls the description that is displayed when someone carries out a search using a search engine like Google. It is important to decide whether or not you want a title next to the description and the website title as well. It is relatively easy to configure the description settings using this plugin.

Step 1 ) The following image General allows you to set up the following settings.

  • Automatically generate description?

Step 2 ) The following image Additions allows you to select the following options.

  • Add additions to automated description?
  • Add the blog name to the additions?
  • Select the description separator.

Step 3 ) The following image displays both options added to the Description when you enable both options.

Note: If you don’t select Add Additions to automated description? first, even if you select the following Add Blogname to automated description additions? it will not be displayed.

The settings above control and are important in the way the description appears in search engines like Google.
