UpdraftPlus Backup Restore Debugging Expert Tools Steps

Step 1 ) The following image Debugging / Expert Tools displays your current server settings.

Note: Unless you have a problem, you can completely ignore everything here. (Quoted from the plugin)


Step 2 ) The following image allows you to install and check other plugins to help you debug an issue. You can also carry the following actions.

  • HTTP Get:
  • Call WordPress action:



Step 3 ) The following image Total (uncompressed) on-disk data: allows you to check the size of uncompressed data from the following options.

  • Plugins
  • Themes
  • Uploads
  • Others

Note: I have selected Plugins to calculate the uncompressed space used.


Step 4 ) The following image illustrates the calculating results from above. In my example below it is using 68.7 MB “Megabytes”

You can carry out the same action for the Themes, Uploads and Others.


Step 5 ) The following image allows you to select from the following options.

  • Debug Full Backup
  • Debug Database Backup
  • Wipe All Settings
  • Active jobs (none)
