You have 20 or more cd’s copied to your computer or laptop and something happens. For example your hard disk crashes, your mother boards stops working, you accidentally down loaded a virus or something else happens.

These problems can be resolved from an IT hardware point of view. Especially if you are computer literate and know your way around computers. All you need to do is reformat your hard disk if your mother board needs to be replaced “in some case you might be able to install the hard disk without having to reformat” and format your hard disk when your hard disk is replaced. Also lets not forget to mention the installation of the operating system and all the software and utilities you had installed.

What Happens To Your Data

What happens to all your data especially all the music you have copied over for many years?

The simple solution is to back up all your music to an external hard disk. Nowadays the external hard disks are very cheap in comparison to when they were first released. You don’t want to go through the trouble of copying the 20 cd’s or more again do you? I know you have heard this many times and it does not hurt to be reminded again. It is a known fact that many of you will loose your data i.e music and photos. You might like to read the following instructions fat32 to ntfs external hard disk. This will help you to convert fat32 into NTFS.
