We are going to create a suffusion child theme in a few steps. Sayontan Sinha has released this amazing child theme for us to use.

Please follow my simple steps to create your child theme.

Hint: What you need before you begin is an ftp program unless you want to use cpanel or have access to the server by other means.

First unzipped the downloaded suffusion child theme in your computer or laptop.

Open up filezilla and navigate to your theme found inside WordPress installation. Make sure that you also find the path where you unzipped the child theme so that you can upload the folder and all folder content. See image below

Now drag the suffu-scion folder to the right hand side. See image below:

Now log into your WordPress admin panel and activate your theme. See image below:

That is all, now you have a Suffusion child theme active for you to configure without affecting the parent theme .
