windows-7-64bit-and-samsung-clx-2160-printer-drivers

I had to troubleshoot a printer problem between windows 7 64bit and Samsung CLX-2160 MFP. The CD that comes with this printer only has 32 bit drivers. Please be aware that if your Windows operating system is 64bit then these drivers will not work. The solution is to download the latest drivers from Samsung’s website.

This also applies to all the printers out in the market that were released around 2007 and did not have 64bit drivers for windows 7. I hope this helps you with your problem, if you need any help just leave a message here or send me an e-mail.

Good luck

I had this problem with office 2003 it kept crashing and spent quite some time looking through forums for an answer. I know that many are already using Office 2007 or Office 2010. But I am still using Office 2003 and I am sure that many are as well :)

I was going to uninstall all the drivers that I thought could be causing this problem, one by one but lucky for me :) I manage to pick the culprit driver in the first go hehehe talk about luck. I finally found the answer to my problem and it was the latest Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software II drivers for Lenovo T61 thinkpad.

So if you are experiencing something similar then I suggest that you uninstall the driver mentioned above. In some cases there might be other drivers that could be causing the same problem.

Good luck

I am sure that you have come across this issue before with Joomla title showing twice for example testing site testing site on the browser. This can become annoying and there is a very simple solution. I have read many forums and blogs on how to fix this issues. I decided to add it to my blog.

Log into your Joomla backend and navigate to the global settings, here is where you enter all your global settings for your site including the meta tags etc. If you have globle settings entered here, you don’t need to add them again anywhere in your Joomla site especially if it is pointing to your frontpage or homepage.

What happens is that some enter a title under Menus > Main Menu > Home this causes a double up on your title and when you look at the top of your browser you see this very annoying double up of the title.

The solution is simple click on Menus > Main Menu> select Home > to the right, you will see Parameters (System) select Show page title: NO and make sure that title is blank. This should fix your problem. In the chance that it doesn’t then I am sure that you have entered somewhere another title that it is pointing to your home frontpage. If you have any questions drop a line ;)
